Jarrod and Stef came along for a romantic kayak together on Valentine’s Day. After bush walking in Ku-Ring-Gai National Park, swimming at Resolute Bay and then paddling back to Pittwater Park. I left them with a bottle of wine and a cheese platter to enjoy. Nice work Jarrod, definitely earned you some brownie points with Stef.
EMC Corporate Tour – “The Best Start to the Year so Far”
Elizabeth and her team from EMC came along for a team building session at the beginning of 2015 to help get her team working together and experience a fun day out together. At the beginning of each year the EMC team has a corporate event. Despite the bad weather on the day, her staff enjoyed it thoroughly and said ” it was the best start to the year so far”. Due to the bad weather we were unable to cross Pittwater, so instead we kayaked to Barrenjoey Headland and walked up to the lighthouse.
Many of the staff had no experience kayaking before and were apprehensive before leaving. Once we were on the water they felt completely comfortable and had a great time.

Joerg and his Wife Enjoy the Sun Rise over Palm Beach
Joerg and his wife still made it down to Palm Beach for the sunrise tour despite sleeping through their alarm. It was a beautiful morning for a paddle. Then they were off to enjoy the rest of the day enjoying all that the surrounding areas of Pittwater has to offer. Excellent pubs, restaurants, cafes and of course the numerous beautiful beaches.
Sasha and her Friends Enjoy Wine and Cheese as the Sun Sets
Sasha organised a group of her friends who live in and around Sydney to get together for a catch up. They enjoyed a paddle on Pittwater (although there was a bit of healthy competition between the blokes, and some of the girls). After the paddle they sat on the grass and enjoyed wine and a cheese platter as the sun set over beautiful Pittwater.

Friends Bring International Guests for a Paddle
This group of friends Sarah, Phil and Dave brought their cousin Andrea from Portugal out for a paddle on the Northern Beaches to show her some truly beautiful Australian Nature. They started the day kayaking on Pittwater and bush walking in Ku Ring Gai National Park and then were headed into the city to have dinner on a Tall ship on Sydney Harbour. An excellent way to spend a day and to show around a guest from overseas.
Manuela likes the Sunrise
Manuela is a Northern Beaches local who was looking for something a bit different. She came along for 2 Sunrise Tours, she liked the first one so much. We were really luck and saw loads of local wildlife including fairy penguins and swamp wallabies. On our first tour we hiked up to 3rd Head and admired the Aboriginal Cave and the views. For the 2nd tour we landed at Great Mackerel Beach and hiked up to some amazing views over Pittwater, Barrenjoey and Palm Beach. We then pushed further inland to have a look at the Aboriginal engravings. Manuela is a keen photographer and took some great photos.
Corporate Tour with Chat Thai – Team Building
Chat Thai booked a Corporate Tour with Pittwater Kayak Tours for their new store that will be opening soon in Boon. Palisa and her team spent the day having a BBQ in Palm Beach down at Governor Arthur Phillip Park before coming out for an afternoon paddle. Give your staff a relaxing day out where they can bond together to help get your 2015 off to a great start.
