This lovely family came for a sunrise paddle and were lucky enough to have a wallaby come right up and say hello no more than 10 feet away. It was a great way to start the day. The young girl had an assignment due on the history of Pittwater, so some of the information she learnt along the way she found useful.

Pittwater Kayak Tours Celebrates National Parks Week
National Parks week ran from the 7th to the 15th March, 2015 this year. To help celebrate National Parks week, PKT lowered its prices to just $40pp. Loads of different groups from all walks of life came together to enjoy evereything that Australia’s National Parks have to offer. Paddling on Pittwater in single and double kayaks, bush walking in Ku-Ring-Gai National Park to West Head and swimming at Resolute Bay was enjoyed by everybody. We were blessed with beautiful weather the whole week.
74 Yr Old Jo, Shows Age is Just a Number
Chris and Anthony who are both keen paddlers brought their mum along for a paddle with Pittwater Kayak Tours. She is 74 years old and or should I say 74 years young. Jo was fit a s a fiddle and made the whole experience look easy. She is not PKT’s oldest participant and an absolute inspiration. She truly showed that age is just a number.
Newport Locals Enjoy a Family Day Out!
This Newport family from Sydney’s Northern Beaches enjoyed a family day out with Pittwater Kayak Tours. The swell was too large this day so we couldn’t land at Resolute Bay so instead landed at Great Mackerel Beach and then walked around to Resolute Bay and up to 3rd Head. It was a hot day and the kids aged 7, 9 and 12 would have kept swimming in the crystal clear water all day if they were allowed.
