On Saturday the 14th PKT celebrated its inaugural tour with a lovely couple from Italy and the states(Lindsay and Simone). We enjoyed a leisurely paddle on the calm waters of Pittwater and then embarked on two bush walks. The first to the top of the Resolute Track to stunning views and then explored the “Red Hands” Aboriginal cave.
The couple were young and fit and feeling energetic so we continued on up to West Head and were greeted with glorious views out over Broken Bay and Pittwater, looking down onto Barrenjoey Headland.
After paddling back to Snapperman’s Beach and were loading the kayaks back into the trailer, a pod of about 20 dolphins started playing right on the shoreline. It was a beautiful way to end our first tour.
Thanks Lindsay and Simone, I hope you enjoyed it.
